The Hershey Lions Club held their annual Citizenship and Patriotism Night on Tuesday, January 15th. This event has been held for over 20 years and recognizes the Police Officer, Firefighter, and Educator of the Year. Each honoree is selected by their piers. Christmas Party/Charter Night

The Hershey Lions conducted their annual Christmas Party and Charter Night on Tuesday, December 18th at Grace United Methodist Church. Besides enjoying some holiday cheer and a fine meal, we also recognized Lion Carol Teufel as our Lion of the Year. Lion Carol does a lot of work behind the scenes to help arrange eye exams and glasses for needy individuals within our community. We also recognized Lion Brian Lynch for his two years as Club President, and presented a Melvin Jones Fellowship to Lion Ron Snavely for his ongoing contributions to the club and community throughout the years. Welcome Lion Kaitlyn!

5K for Trey

Our club sponsored the 5K for Trey on Saturday morning, October 12th at the Hershey Medical Center campus. There were over 100 participants, a DJ, an emcee, awards for runners, and more for the runners and walkers. This fundraiser supports Hershey Medical Center research into infectious diseases. Our own Lion Brent Schultz organized the event in memory of his son Trey whom was lost to such a tragic disease.

Annual Spaghetti Dinner

The annual Hershey Lions Club Foundation Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 22nd from 11am-2pm at Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown. We invite everyone to come support the work that we do and have a great all-you-can-eat spaghetti meal while doing it. The meal includes spaghetti, Fenicci’s DeAngelis sauce, cole slaw, role and butter, coffee, cold beverage, and choice of dessert. Date: September 22 Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm Location: Grace United Methodist Church, 433 E. Main St., Hummelstown Adults: $8.00 Children (12 and under): $5.00 Takeouts are available! Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser

The Hershey Lions Club is hosting one of our major fundraisers on Saturday, June 1st at Manada Golf Club. This supports many of our major projects and we invite you to come and participate. The event is a four-person, best ball scramble and includes greens fees, cart, drinks, snacks, door prizes, challenge prizes, and catered picnic dinner afterward. Since 1944

What We Do


The club was chartered in the fall of 1944 by local Hershey business representatives through a sponsorship from the Palmyra Lions Club. The club currently meets at Grace United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
