5K for Trey – October 12
The Hershey Lions Club and our 501(c)3 organization the Hershey Lions Club Foundation will be hosting a 5K benefit race on October 12, 2019 at the Hershey Medical Center. All proceeds will benefit the Hershey Medical Center for Research for Infectious Diseases. Trey Schultz was 24 years old when he lost his fight with an infectious disease and research can help to prevent this for others. The Hershey Lions have installed their newly-elected officers for the Lions Year 2019-2020. Pictured above is Past District Governor Pete Van Zandt of our club as he installs Lion Bart Callear who will continue to be our President for the next year. Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser
The Hershey Lions Club is hosting one of our major fundraisers on Saturday, June 1st at Manada Golf Club. This supports many of our major projects and we invite you to come and participate. The event is a four-person, best ball scramble and includes greens fees, cart, drinks, snacks, door prizes, challenge prizes, and catered picnic dinner afterward. What We Do
The club was chartered in the fall of 1944 by local Hershey business representatives through a sponsorship from the Palmyra Lions Club. The club currently meets at Grace United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
